The Fabric

• Outer body: Premium cotton velour — a dense, real velvet in a luminous gold/champagne tone with a signature crinkled texture that creates a rich, dimensional surface.
• Embroidered panels: Alo Bakhmal — a rare, 100% hand-woven traditional velvet from Central Asia, composed of 80% real silk and 20% high-quality cotton. The panels feature a vivid multicolour ikat pattern of swirling botanicals and a striking central phoenix motif in crimson red, teal, green, yellow, and black — framed by a geometric black-and-white diamond border.
• Lining & fill: Filled with high-quality cotton batting for exceptional warmth, making this chapan as practical as it is breathtaking.

The Craft
