The Crimson Velvet Chapan is a statement in deep, burning red. Its rich burgundy body absorbs and reflects light in equal measure — the kind of colour that has dressed royalty and adorned ceremonial halls for centuries. Draped in hand-woven ikat panels, this chapan is not just outerwear. It is a living archive of Central Asian craft.

The Fabric

• Outer body: Premium cotton velour — a dense, real velvet in a deep crimson with a signature crinkled texture that shifts and shimmers with every movement.
• Embroidered panels: Alo Bakhmal — a rare, 100% hand-woven traditional velvet from Central Asia, composed of 80% real silk and 20% high-quality cotton. The panels feature a striking two-tone composition: bold crimson velvet motifs woven against a warm ivory background, with a grand symmetrical arabesque across the back and swirling ikat forms on the front pockets.
• Lining & fill: Filled with high-quality cotton batting for exceptional warmth — as functional as it is spectacular.

The Craft

The Alo Bakhmal panels are hand-woven by master artisans in Uzbekistan. The back panel's sweeping ivory arabesque — framed by a geometric ornamental border — is a centrepiece of Central Asian textile tradition, rendered with extraordinary precision and depth. No two pieces are identical.
