The Fabric

• Outer body: Premium cotton velour — dense, real velvet in a vivid electric royal blue with a signature crinkled texture that shifts and shimmers with movement.
• Embroidered panels: Alo Bakhmal — a rare, 100% hand-woven traditional velvet from Central Asia (80% real silk, 20% high-quality cotton). Bold royal blue motifs woven against shimmering metallic gold, with a grand symmetrical arabesque across the back and swirling ikat forms on the front pockets.
• Lining & fill: High-quality cotton batting for exceptional warmth.

The Craft

The Alo Bakhmal panels are hand-woven by master artisans in Uzbekistan. No two pieces are identical — each chapan is carried like a story passed down through generations.
